My name is Brooke Dorsa and I am a freshman at Montgomery College. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. I moved to Pensacola, Florida when I was four years old and then to Texas when I was twelve. I love Texas and would never think about leaving.

 

 I live in Spring, Texas and graduated from Oak Ridge High School in May of 2005. Graduation was a bittersweet moment that I will remember always. 

 

At Montgomery College, I am working to obtain an Associates Degree in Political Science. After getting my Associates, I would like to transfer to a four year university. Right now, I am looking into Sam Houston State University or the University of Houston as my transfer school. My long term goal is to become a lawyer. I am undecided what type of law I want to practice, but law is my main interest.

 

Along with being a full time student, I am also a full time employee of a local dentist and have been employed there for roughly six months. I also spend time teaching violin, and have been for a year and a half. I also work for a Mary Kay consultant two days a week. My life is full of excitement.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my younger sister and my boyfriend, surfing the internet, and of course, shopping. I also enjoy writing poetry. It is something that I have a knack for and am good at. It’s a way of releasing emotion in words.
